🧾 Refund & Repair Policy

At Glass by Daryl, each piece is a one-of-a-kind, handcrafted work of art. We take great pride in the care, detail, and craftsmanship that goes into every creation. Because each item is individually made, our policies reflect the uniqueness and fragility of our collection.

🔄 Returns & Refunds

We do not offer general returns or refunds. However, in the event your artwork arrives damaged in transit, we will gladly repair or replace the piece at no additional cost. To qualify:

  • You must notify us within 7 days of delivery

  • Include clear photos of the damage and the packaging

  • All original packaging should be retained until the issue is resolved

If damage is reported outside of the 7-day window, we reserve the right to deny the free repair.

🛠 Repairs Due to Mishandling

We understand accidents happen. If your piece is broken due to mishandling or improper care after delivery, we offer a paid repair option. In such cases:

  • The customer is responsible for shipping the item to and from the artist

  • A repair fee will be assessed based on the extent of the damage

  • Each repair is considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on feasibility

To request a repair, please contact us with photos and a description of the issue.

🎨 Artist Statement on Care

Each item in the Glass by Daryl collection is handmade and irreplaceable. These pieces are not factory-made — they are functional collectibles intended to be displayed and handled with care. Damage resulting from rough handling, dropping, or misuse should be seen as a moment to reconnect with the artist for restoration, not disposal.

It is the responsibility of the caretaker to treat these items with respect and to contact the artist for proper repair, should the need arise.

🚫 Do Not Discard

Please DO NOT EVER throw away any piece.
If for any reason you no longer want your artwork, we ask that you return it directly to us. These pieces deserve dignity — even in parting.
